Retail
Retail spaces are considered down to the lighting and the materials. A kiosk placed in one becomes part of that composition, so we tend to treat it as furniture as much as equipment.
It also has to work for whoever walks up to it, often with no one around to explain it. Clarity at a glance matters as much as the finish.
So we develop the design and the functionality together rather than one after the other, looking for a kiosk that suits the space it stands in and the person using it.
